The Insider is the student magazine of Glendale Community College, in Glendale, Calif. serving the wide interests and information needs of a diverse student body of more that 25,000 full-time and part-time students. Its premier issue was June 2008.

Participation in the published magazine requires enrollment in a class, Magazine Writing (Journalism 107). The online edition is open to GCC students who are enrolled in the journalism program, or who have completed Journalism 102, 103, 104 or 107. The online edition is also open to submissions from alumni staffers and the Glendale College community.

If you have an innate curiosity in what goes on around you and a love for words, pictures or computer graphics, you are encouraged to join the Insider, or its sister publication, El Vaquero, the student newspaper.
